Terms of Service

StreamRio is operated by Yang Zhenbo, an individual operating under the laws of China ("StreamRio," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of StreamRio. By using StreamRio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

StreamRio provides browser-source animated mascot overlays for live streamers. Users can choose characters, connect supported platforms, configure trigger rules, preview reactions, and use a production overlay URL in streaming software such as OBS, Streamlabs, TikTok LIVE Studio, and other tools that support browser sources.

Accounts

You may need an account to use StreamRio. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and all activity under your account.

Overlay URLs

Your production overlay URL is intended for your own streaming setup. Keep it private. Anyone with the URL may be able to load your overlay. You can regenerate the overlay token from the dashboard to invalidate the previous URL.

Plans and Billing

StreamRio offers free preview access and paid StreamRio Pro plans. Pricing and plan details are shown on the Pricing page.

New paid subscriptions are charged when checkout is completed and automatically renew at USD $9.99 per month or USD $99 per year, depending on the plan selected at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method until you cancel. PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Card and supported digital-wallet payments are sold and processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as the reseller and Merchant of Record for those transactions.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing → Manage Billing. Card and digital-wallet subscriptions are managed through the Waffo Consumer Portal; PayPal subscriptions are managed through PayPal. If you cannot access the billing portal, contact paul@streamrio.com for assistance.

Canceling stops future renewals. Unless a refund is approved or applicable law requires otherwise, Pro access remains available until the end of the current paid billing period. Subscriptions created under a discontinued promotional trial retain the access and billing schedule shown when that subscription began.

Refunds

A first-time subscriber may request a full refund within 7 days after the initial paid subscription charge.

We also provide a full refund for a verified duplicate or incorrect charge. For a verified continuous StreamRio service outage lasting at least 72 hours and caused by systems under our control, we may provide a proportional refund or account credit. Renewal charges outside the first-charge refund window are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

To request a refund, email paul@streamrio.com from your registered account email and include the transaction or subscription ID and the reason for the request. We will acknowledge the request within 2 business days and aim to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. The payment provider may require additional time to return funds to the original payment method.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use StreamRio for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • Attempt to bypass payment, access, rate limits, or security controls
  • Share, sell, or publicly expose private overlay URLs in a way that enables misuse
  • Interfere with StreamRio infrastructure or third-party platform integrations
  • Upload, configure, or display content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
  • Use StreamRio to harass, impersonate, deceive, or harm others

Streaming Platform Integrations

StreamRio depends on third-party platforms and services. Twitch, TikTok, OBS, Streamlabs, TikTok LIVE Studio, and related services may change their APIs, policies, availability, or event delivery at any time. StreamRio is not responsible for outages, delays, or limitations caused by third-party services.

StreamRio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch, TikTok, OBS, Streamlabs, or TikTok LIVE Studio.

Data and Privacy

Your use of StreamRio is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed by Waffo Pancake and is not stored on StreamRio servers.

Intellectual Property

StreamRio, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and provided character assets, is owned by StreamRio or its licensors. You may use StreamRio only as allowed by these Terms. You retain rights to your own account configuration and content, subject to the rights needed for StreamRio to provide the service.

Service Changes and Availability

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of StreamRio at any time. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security risk, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using StreamRio at any time.

Disclaimers

StreamRio is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamRio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost streaming income arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of StreamRio after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
